Spring has Sprung!
Portobello West Christmas Market
We had a great time at the November Portobello market and we are looking forward to the December Holiday market. Perfect for unique Christmas gifts! There’s such a wide variety of vendors, something for everyone! I will be sneaking away from our table to do my shopping! Here are the details for the December Christmas market:
Saturday December 12th 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Sunday December 13th 12:00pm to 6:00pm

This will be the last Portobello market of 2009. The 2010 markets start on March 27th & 28th, and continue on the last Sunday of every month.

We are so excited to be vendors in our first holiday markets this year. We just had a great weekend at the Make It Vancouver Show and we are looking forward to being at Portobello this weekend, November 28 & 29. Thank you for all of your support so far this year, we are looking forward to seeing you this Christmas season!

This year Portobello West is accepting donations to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. If you are attending the market, please bring non-perishable food items to support those who are not so lucky this holiday season. Cash donations are also being accepted.
Every $1.00 donated allows The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society to purchase $3.00 worth of food!

“…lineups at GVFBS food depots and at partnering agencies have increased by an average of 10 percent from the previous year…food stock at the GVFBS warehouse has decreased by an astonishing 10,000 lbs from this time last year.”

This years Eastside Culture Crawl falls on the same weekend as Make It Vancouver, a great reason to get out and see all the creativity we are surrounded with in our beautiful city! Be sure to check it out, it’s an amazing opportunity to see local artists studios and get a glimpse of their work environments, as well as talk to them about their processes and purchase directly from the artists themselves. Very inspiring! If you are out and about, be sure to check out the Culture Crawl as well as the Make It show, it will be a great weekend!!
